Kohinoor Ltd was established in June 2003 to cater for the foodservice (under the "Kohinoor" brand) and meals and sauces retail market (under the "Balti House" brand). Our products launched initially in January 2004. In March 2006, we moved to our custom built premises in Tallaght. The company has 20 employees, with highly skilled professional artisan chefs leading our production team. Each chef has a minimum of 15 years experience in making restaurant quality cuisine using authentic and traditional methods. We prepare our Punjabi cuisine in the same traditional manner as it has been prepared in the Indian Subcontinent's Punjab region for centuries. We also have our own distribution system, with both chilled and frozen vans and trucks.
